West Chester, Pa. --  The magical run of the 2014 West Virginia Wesleyan College Bobcat softball team came to a final hault Sunday afternoon as they lost the deciding game three of the Atlantic Super Regionals, 3-1 to the West Chester Golden Rams.  After winning the regular season inaugural Mountain East Conference and finishing second in the MEC tournament, the Bobcats total out the 2014 campaign at 46-15.

Wesleyan would strike first in the top of the 2nd inning as Olivia Gore would score on a Jessica Rodriguez sacrifice fly to left field after Gore lead off the inning with a single.  The Golden Rams would answer right back, however, with a single run of their own in the bottom of the 2nd tying the game, 1-1.  

Problems would arise in the bottom of the third for the Bobcats when the Golden Rams started out the inning with a triple followed up by an immediate RBI double that plated the go-ahead run.  Before the Bobcats could collect three outs, the Golden Rams would add one more making the score, 3-1.

Unfortuanately for the 'Cats, there would be no more real threats at the Golden Rams and the score would hold ending a season, although with much accomplished, a feeling of disappointment.  Coach Warner will have the duty of replacing four, very key, component seniors, Jacqui Omichinski, Alex Furr, Jessica Griffin and Carleigh Hall as they look to roll over this year's success on to the 2015 season.
