Salem, Va. – The West Virginia Wesleyan Softball team fell victim to MEC Champion UVa-Wise, 6-2, in Sunday's Championship game in Salem, Va.  The only two losses the Bobcats had during the tournament were to the Cavaliers in the Winner's Bracket final, then again after the 'Cats fought their way back out of the Loser's Bracket.  

This brings the Bobcats to 41-11 for the season with the NCAA Division II Tournament right around the corner.  Two Bobcats, Jacqui Omichinski and Carleigh Hall also made the MEC All-Tournament team.
