WEST LIBERTY -- West Virginia Wesleyan senior keeper Lauren Duncan (Sugar Hill, Ga./Exercise Science) made two saves for her second shutout of the year as the Lady Bobcats went on the road and fought West Liberty to a scoreless 0-0 tie in a MEC clash Wednesday evening.

Despite the tie on the scoreboard, Wesleyan won the statistical battle easily.

Wesleyan peppered West Liberty with 19 shots putting eight on goal compared to West Liberty's seven shots and two shots on goal.

Wesleyan also owned a 6-0 advantage in corner kicks.

The tie left head coach Patrick Holguin's squad with a 3-0-1 record while West Liberty now owns a 1-1-2 ledger.

Both team are 1-0-1 in the MEC.

The Lady Bobcats will return to action this Saturday when they host Notre Dame in an MEC match-up at 4 p.m.
