Volleyball Lady 'Cats Tumble to Urbana in Straight Sets

URBANA, OHIO -- The West Virginia Wesleyan Lady Bobcat volleyball team had a rough go of it on the road at Urbana in an MEC contest Saturday evening.

Wesleyan fell in straight sets, 25-14, 25-21 and 25-20.

Hannah Moore (Altoona, Pa./Psychology) led the Lady Bobcats with seven kills wile Erin Bond Macungie, Pa./Psychology) and Lindsay Caldwell Bloomington, Ill./Public Relations) each had five.

Paulina Nottingham (Champaign, Ill./Marketing) paced the squad in assists with 16 while Katlyn Hoge (Oakdale, Pa./Biology) was the digs leader with 10.

The loss dropped the Lady 'Cats to 1-5 overall and 0-2 in the MEC.

They will be back in action at home this Tuesday when they host Ohio Valley at 7 p.m.
