BUCKHANNON – It was a tale of two different games here between the West Virginia Wesleyan Lady Bobcats and the Ohio Valley Lady Scots in non-conference volleyball action Tuesday night at Rockefeller Center.

The Lady Bobcats took the first two sets by a 25-16 and 25-23 scores, but Ohio Valley rallied to pull out the win taking the final sets by a 25-16, 25-14 and 15-13 scores.

It appeared early in the third set that Wesleyan going to make it a clean sweep as they took an early 8-6 lead, but Ohio Valley scored the next four points to take a lead and they would never relinquish it.

Wesleyan never led in the fourth set.

It looked like the fifth set would belong to Wesleyan as well as they jumped into a 7-5 lead but OVU scored five unanswered points to take a 10-7 advantage.

Wesleyan would get to within one at 14-13 but OVU closed out the Lady Bobcats with the match point.

The disappointing loss left the Lady 'Cats with a 1-6 record overall.

They will return to action Friday as they travel to Charleston to take on the University of Charleston at 7 p.m.
