Bobcats, Lady 'Cats Ranked in Atlantic Regional Soccer Rankings

BUCKHANNON – Both the West Virginia Wesleyan men's and women's soccer teams are ranked in the top 10 in the current NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division II Atlantic Region Soccer Rankings.

The women check in at No. 6 while the men are ranked No. 8.

The women, coached by Patrick Holguin, are 5-0-1 on the season and have recorded three straight shutouts over the last week. They fought West Liberty to a 0-0 tie before beating Notre Dame and Shepherd by identical 1-0 scores.

The Bobcats of head coach Gavin Donaldson tied Shippensburg by a 1-1 score this past seven days before falling to Notre Dame and Shepherd by 1-0 scores. The 'Cats are 2-3-1 on the season.

The rankings were released before today's action at Shepherd.

Both the women's and men's team will return to action this Saturday in a doubleheader at Urbana. The women will kick-off at noon and the men will play at 3 p.m.
