Box Score URBANA, Ohio -- The West Virginia Wesleyan women's soccer team suffered a shocking setback on the road today at Urbana in a MEC contest.
The Lady 'Cats were dealt a dissappointing 1-0 setback.
Urbana's goal came on a penalty kick by Hannah Rembach in the 87 minute of action.
Wesleyan controlled the game but was never able to find the back of the net.
The Lady 'Cats owned an overwhelming 19-6 advantage in shots and a 14-3 advantage in shots-on-goal.
Wesleyan also owned an 8-2 margin in corner kicks.
Senior Wesleyan keeper Lauren Duncan made two saves.
The loss, the first of the year of head coach Patrick Holguin's group, dropped their record to 5-1-1 overall and 3-1-1 in the MEC.
They will return to the pitch Wednesday when they travel to Wheeling Jesuit for a 7 p.m. kick-off.
