BUCKHANNON -- The West Virginia Wesleyan Lady Bobcats made quick work of the Glenville State Pioneers here Tuesday evening in MEC volleyball action.
The Lady 'Cats blanked Glenville State 3-0 in dominating fashion.
Wesleyan took the first set 25-16 and owned the second set by a 25-9 margin.
The final set was a back and fourth affair with Glenville actually leading 20-18, but the Lady 'Cats rallied to take it, 25-23.
"This was a good win," remarked head coach Jackie Hinton. "We played hard and made some lucky points. I thought in the second set, we played with great intensity.
It was the second straight victory for head coach Jackie Hinton's squad as they improved to 3-7 overall and 2-3 in the MEC.
The Lady 'Cats will return to action at home this Friday when they face Concord in another MEC tilt at 7 p.m.
