Box Score WISE, Va. – It was one of those games that you simply burn the game tape and move on to the next one for head coach Michael Bari and his West Virginia Wesleyan Lady Bobcats today after they dropped an 86-57 road decision to the UVa.-Wise Cavaliers in a Mountain East Conference contest.
Wesleyan was slow out of the gate and was behind after one quarter by a 23-13 score.
The Lady Bobcats were never able to recover as they trailed by a 40-22 score at the break and was behind by a 70-29 score after three quarters of action.
Wesleyan outscored UVa.-Wise in the final quarter by a 28-16 spread.
Allie Browne (pictured) led Wesleyan in scoring with 15 points.
Stacy Remer posted another double-double 10 points and 13 rebounds.
Tara Goldman was the other Lady Bobcat to reach double digits in points as she scored 10.
Wesleyan shot just 31 percent in the game hitting on 18 of their 58 attempts.
Wesleyan, now 1-4 overall and 0-3 in the MEC, will stay on the road on their MEC southern swing as they play Concord Saturday at 2 p.m.
