Box Score HILTON HEAD (S.C.) – All good things must come to an end and they did for the West Virginia Wesleyan lacrosse team here Wednesday afternoon as their four-game unbeaten streak came to an end at the hands of Kutztown University.
The Lady 'Cats dropped a 14-6 decision.
Kutztown jumped into a 12-0 lead before Emily Noel put Wesleyan on the board with 24 seconds left in the first half.
Kutztown took a 13-1 lead into the intermission.
The second half was much close as it was a deadlock at 3-3.
Scoring the second half goals for Wesleyan were Taylor Holmes, Noel and Natalie Schaffner.
Wesleyan is now 4-1 on the season.
They will return to action this Saturday in the home opener against Nyack.
Game time is slated for 1 p.m.
