Box Score

BUCKHANNON – It was a 'perfect' weekend for the West Virginia Wesleyan volleyball team.

Following a 3-0 victory Friday night over Davis & Elkins, the volleyball team made quick work of Salem International today with another 3-0 victory in a non-conference affair in Rockefeller Center.

Wesleyan downed Salem, 25-18, 25-17 and 25-18.

The win was the fifth in a row for Ashley Ziegle's team as they improved their record to 5-5.

In fact, you have to go all the way back to last Sunday against Oglehthorpe that Wesleyan lost a set.

Hannah Moore led the team with 10 kills and 15 digs while Paulina Nottingham paced the team in assists with 14.

Wesleyan will return to action next Friday when they travel to Fairmont State for a 7 p.m. Mountain East Conference contest.
