Box Score BUCKHANNON – The West Virginia Wesleyan women's soccer team continues to move upward in the latest NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division II National Rankings that were released today.
The Lady Bobcats are currently ranked 13th in the nation. They moved up six spots as they were ranked 19th last week.
Wesleyan remained second in the Atlantic Regional as Gannon held onto the top spot this week.
The Lady Bobcats of head coach Patrick Holguin are 8-0 overall on the season and have allowed just two goals in their eight games.
Wesleyan will face California (Pa.) tonight on the road in a huge regional contest. California (Pa.) enters the game ranked seventh in the region with a 4-2-2 record.
Following the California (Pa.) contest, the Lady Bobcats will face West Liberty at home on Saturday, Oct. 3 at 7 p.m.
