Lady 'Cats Fall to No. 4 Wheeling Jesuit, 3-0

WHEELING – The West Virginia Wesleyan volleyball team took on the No. 4 team in the country today and the defending national champions in Wheeling Jesuit on the road in a Mountain East Conference match-up.

The Lady Bobcats dropped a 3-0 decision – 25-12, 25-17, 25-12.

Wesleyan received a 12-kill effort from Stacie Baumann and an 11-kill effort from Hannah King.

Paulina Nottingham totaled 29 set assists.

Lexi Walsh had 13 digs.

As a team, the Lady Bobcats had 30 kills with 19 errors in 103 attacks.

Wesleyan is now 6-15 overall and 2-6 in the MEC.

They will return to action Friday on the road against UVa.-Wise.

The conference clash will start at 5 p.m.
