Box Score GLENVILLE – The West Virginia Wesleyan volleyball team won their second in a row as they downed the Glenville State Lady Pioneers tonight by a 3-0 score in Mountain East Conference action at the Waco Center.
Glenville State pushed Wesleyan in each set, but the Lady Bobcats were victorious – 25-22, 25-20, 25-22.
It was the first conference victory of the season for head coach Ashley Ziegle and her Lady Bobcats as they improved to 1-3 in league play and 5-12 overall.
Ebonie Hicks and Hannah King each had eight digs for Wesleyan.
Paulina Nottingham had a game-high 27 assists.
Lexi Walsh had a game-high 27 digs.
Wesleyan had seven service aces during the contest.
Glenville State fell to 0-3 in the conference and 0-17 overall.
The Lady 'Cats will play again this Friday when they host Concord at 7 p.m.
