Lacrosse Team Drops Opener to East Stroudsburg, 15-0

EAST STROUDSBURG (Pa.) – It was a rough opener to the 2016 lacrosse season for first-year head coach Kaitlin Feeney and her West Virginia Wesleyan Lady Bobcats.

Facing a very good East Stroudsburg team on the road, the Lady Bobcats dropped a 15-0 decision.

East Stroudsburg took a 9-0 lead at the half and then added five more goals in the second half.

Wesleyan managed just three shots and two shots on goal.

Lauren Granville turned away nine shots in the net for Wesleyan.

Wesleyan (0-1) will stay on the road and face Millersville Saturday at 1 p.m.
