CHARLESTON – It was a second half to forget for the West Virginia Wesleyan soccer Bobcats today in their Mountain East Conference match-up with the No. 2-ranked University of Charleston Golden Eagles.
Wesleyan was down just 1-0 at the intermission, but gave up eight second-half goals in a 9-0 setback.
The loss drops Wesleyan to 1-3 on the season and 1-1 in the MEC.
Wesleyan will return to action this Thursday when they host Wheeling Jesuit at 7 p.m.
