Box Score BUCKHANNON – On a special night for junior setter Katlyn Buckland (pictured), the West Virginia Wesleyan Lady Bobcats lost a tough one against the University of Charleston in a Mountain East Conference contest at Rockefeller Center.
The Lady Bobcats lost a 3-2 decision after being up two sets to one.
Wesleyan took the first set by a 25-21 score but lost the second set by that same score.
They took the third set, 25-23, but lost sets four and five by 25-23 and 15-11 scores.
For Buckland, she recorded her 1000th assists during the fourth set.
Charleston improved to 8-4 in the league and 12-13 overall.
The loss dropped Wesleyan to 4-8 in the conference and 10-17 overall.
They will have little time to rest as they return to action on the road tomorrow evening at West Virginia State.
The league outing will start at 5 p.m.
