Box Score BUCKHANNON -- West Virginia Wesleyan's women lost at non-conference Seton Hill Tuesday night, losing 79-59. Jenna Kaufman and Courtney Cecere led the Griffins; both contributing 14 points.
Seton Hill's Alexandra Hay started off the game with a lay up to start off their 7-0 run. Coach Vicky Bullett's squad answered back taking the lead with Katie Demi's jumper with 2 seconds left in the first quarter putting the Bobcats up 23-19 going into the second quarter.
Leading into halftime the Griffins led 41-32 and held the lead the rest of the game. Griffins increased to a 20pt lead finishing 79-59.
Mari Stewart led the Bobcats with 12 points and 7 rebounds followed by Stacy Remer with 10 points and 6 rebounds.
Wesleyan falls to an overall record of 4-5 and will return to action on Tuesday at Slippery Rock for a 5:30 tip off.
