Women Fall to Non-Conference Johnson C. Smith

BUCKHANNON - West Virginia Wesleyan Women's Basketball team fell to Johnson C. Smith 92-58 in Sundayafternoon's match up. 

 

The Bobcats were able to close the gap to four points but could not take the lead. Coach Vicky Bullett's squad fought hard but the Golden Bulls out rebounded the Bobcats 47-27.

 

Leading the Bobcats were Alexa Szelong and Abi Gabauer. Szelong finished the game with 14 points while Gabauer finished with 10 points. 

 

Leading the Golden Bulls were Malia Rivers scoring 16 points followed by Kendall Adams scoring 12 points.

 

Wesleyan fall to a 5-7 overall record and will return to action on their home court on Thursday against Urbana; tip off at5:30
