BUCKHANNON – The West Virginia Wesleyan volleyball team opened their home campaign up in fine fashion as they defeated Bluefield State by a 3-1 decision tonight in non-conference action at Rockefeller Center.
Wesleyan won the first set by a 25-18 score before dropping the second set, 25-23.
They rebounded to win the third set, 25-12 and cruised to a 25-13 victory in the fourth and final set.
The win improved Nancy Wheeler's squad to 3-9 overall.
The Lady Bobcats will return to action this Friday as they visit Concord for a MEC contest starting at 7 p.m.
