Recap
West Virginia Wesleyan Women's Basketball began their Mountain East Conference slate of games on Saturday at Frostburg State. This game would be Frostburg's first ever in the MEC, and Wesleyan let them know how tough of a league it is. Without shooting particularly well, the Lady Bobcats were still able to play fast and aggressive and forced their way to a 51-49 win. Frostburg was picked to finish last in the pre-season poll, and this game followed the early-season narrative that Wesleyan is taking care of the opponents that they are supposed to beat. It did not come easy however, as there were nineteen total lead changes in this one.Â
