The men's and women's tennis season kicked off on Friday with doubles play.  The men were led by senior Ethan Thomas, who went undefeated in doubles play along with partner, Andres Valverde.  Returner, Ishan Godbharle , and newcomer Luiz Pimenta also went undefeated this weekend in doubles play while the teams of Giovani Pinhati and Takuya Kobayashi and last year's MEC Player of the Year Kihiro Karasawa and freshmen Jed Platts also secured a doubles victory this weekend.

On the women's side, the team of Dominique Jansen and Sneha Sundaraneedi went undefeated in doubles play while the other two women's doubles teams were unable to complete any matches due to weather.  The remainder of the tournament was cancelled again this year due to weather conditions.

The Bobcats will have several players participating in the upcoming ITA Atlantic Regional Singles and Doubles Tournament which begins play on Thursday Septemember 14th.
