The West Virginia Wesleyan College Bobcat Dance Team recently finished as Silver Medalists/National Runner-ups in the Division II Spirit Rally category at the National Dance Alliance Cheer and Dance National Championships held in Daytona Beach Florida. 
 

This is the second time in the program's four-year history that they have placed 2nd in the nation. The team finished 2nd in the Division II Team Performance category in 2023.
 

The team improved its score by 2.025 points from preliminary rounds to finals, moving up from 3rd to 2nd place. The dance team also competed in the Team Performance category in which they received 5th place out of eight teams competing. 

The final standings for Division II Spirit Rally are as follows:

1. Texas Woman's University (93.7250)

2. West Virginia Wesleyan College (88.5500)

3. California State University at Dominguez Hills (88.0000)

4. Henderson State University (87.8000)
