Kelsey Chambers enters her first season as Head Coach of the Track & Field Programs. Chambers recently served as Interim Coach during the Cross Country season and as an assistant coach in the program for three seasons.

During her first season at Wesleyan, she coached two runners who placed Top-5 in multiple events at the MEC Indoor Conference Championships. In her second season, Chambers coached her first conference champion, Tori Carr, in the 3,000 meter steeplechase. 

She rebuilt the Men's XC team from only having one runner in 2019 to 10 runners in 2021, where the team would finish Top-5 in the conference with an all-freshman team. Chambers got the best out of Tori Carr once again as she earned 1st Team All-MEC. 

Chambers received her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Special Education at Wheeling University. In 2017, Kelsey was a NCAA National Qualifier in cross country. She is a 3-time Mountain East Conference cross country champion and a 5-time MEC Champion in track. She is also a a 5-time Athlete of the Year and an 8-time NCAA Provisional Qualifier. She attended Oak Glen High School (WV), where she had success in Cross Country & Track. She is a 5-time West Virginia state champion in track, as well as the 2013 cross country state runner-up.
