Andrea Chidester enters her third season as the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for the WVWC track & field programs in 2021-22. Chidester oversees the short sprints and jumps. 

Chidester was a sprinter at Marshall University from 2014-2018, where she received here undergraduate degree in Sports Management and Marketing. She received the CUSA Commissioner Academic Medal of Honor Award from 2014-2018. She was a member of the 4th place 4x400m CUSA finish in 2017, finishing with a time of 3:44. Andrea was also part of the 2017 DMR Collegiate record breaking team at the historic Penn Relays. She recently received her master's in Athletic Coaching Education at West Virginia University.
