Mazza graduated from Emerson College with a degree in Sports Communication and a minor in Psychology.

Her first coaching job was at West Boca Raton High School as the assistant coach for the varsity team and the head coach of the junior varsity team. She helped lead the varsity team to its first-ever District Championship and appearance in Regional Semi-Finals.

She also coached with the club teams Team Boca (Florida) and Armada FC (Tennessee) and is certified with Grassroots License through US Soccer, and currently working towards D License.
