Lauren Baumgartner begins her first season as an assistant coach for West Virginia Wesleyan women's soccer in 2022.

A three-year starter and senior captain of WVWC women's scocer, Baumgartner was a member of the 2018 Mountain East Conference Championship squad. The Pittsburgh, Pa., native received a Mountain East Scholar Athlete Award for the 2020-21 season. Baumgartner graduated from WVWC in 2022 with a Bachelors of Science in Biochemestry and plans to attend medical school the following year.
