Box Score 2 West Virginia Wesleyan volleyball had a perfect 2-0 day at Davis & Elkins Tri-Match. The Bobcats opened the day playing the Senators, where they won 3-0 (25-12, 25-18, 25-18). Wesleyan then went on to play Kentucky State where they also grabbed the win 3-1 (25-11, 25-11, 22-25, 28-26).
In match one against Davis & Elkins, Erin Bond led the way with 14 kills. Bond also recorded four block assists.
In match two, Bond also took charge with 11 kills. Paula Renteria followed with 10 kills.
Casey Pattyn led the Bobcats offense with a total of 72 assists for the day.
Wesleyan's defense was headed by Renata Comparini who recorded 10 digs in match one and 15 digs in the match two.
The Bobcats now advance to 21-8 on the year and are in action Wednesday at Pitt-Johnstown. The game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
