Fairmont, WV- The Lady Cats traveled to Fairmont on Wednesday evening to take on the Falcons who came into the game tied for second in the MEC North Division standings. The game remained scoreless until the second overtime when
Natalie Prater notched her 8th goal of the season. The win for Wesleyan extended their unbeaten streak to fourteen games.
Wesleyan held a slight advantage in shots with 8 to Fairmont's 6. The Lady Cats will be back in action at home on Sunday against Shepherd University for their last regular season game of the season.
Wesleyan has already clinched the MEC South Division, and will go into the playoffs with the best record in the conference.
