The Lady Bobcats came into today's matchup with a 2-5 overall record, facing off with the Concord Mountain Lions who has a 5-3 overall record.
The Mountain Lions came out strong in the first half putting up 41 points, opposed to the Lady Cats scoring 22.
The Bobcats were lead in scoring by
Brittany Stawovy and
Alexa Szelong with each registering 8 points a piece. The Lady Cats were out shot from the floor shooting 30.9 percent while the Mountain lions shot 55.4 percent. The Bobcats were out rebounded by the Mountain Lions 42 to 35.
Victoria Jackson led her squad with 4 steals as the Bobcats collected 12, while the Mountain Lions managed to collect 9. The Lady Bobcats had a tough physical match up but at the end would fall short with a final score of 51-78.
The Lady Bobcats will be back in action at Urbana University on January 10th at 5:30pm.
