Buckhannon, WV- West Virginia Wesleyan Women's Basketball took on Virginia-Wise on Wednesday evening and fell short 59-58. After being down by as much as fourteen at half, the Bobcats clawed back in it with a few minutes left in the second half. The game winning shot fell short and the Bobcats dropped their fifth game of the season. 

Wesleyan would go into the half down 36-22, and would not find life until the games final minutes. After finding themselves down by nineteen, Wesleyan would go on a 25-7 to finish things out, including a 14-2 run in the games final three minutes.

Victoria Jackson would have the game high in points with 18, and would be the only Bobcat in double figures. The Bobcats would have 34 points from their bench.

Wesleyan will be back in action this weekend when they travel to Concord University.
