Morgantown, WV -- West Virginia Wesleyan opened up their spring break with a 9-0 win over visiting Roberts Wesleyan University here Saturday evening. The match was played indoors in Morgantown due to the weather, although the conditions were perfect for the 'Cats.
The Bobcats (2-1 overall) swept the doubles and surrendered only one set in turning back the Red Hawks, who came into the match ranked #10 in the ITA Eastern region.

Thomas McIntosh each contributed two points for West Virginia Wesleyan, while Haris Simaioforidis and Alex Lyudinovskiy both pitched in wins to complete the sweep.
The Bobcats hit the road for the next week as they travel through North Carolina to play four matches in six days. The 'Cats will open with Belmont Abbey College in Gastonia on Monday. The Crusaders are the preseason favorite to win the Carolinas Conference championship in the coaches poll.
