BUCKHANNON – West Virginia Wesleyan Women's Lacrosse team fell to Shepherd on Sunday, 11-14.
Leading the team with 4 goals was Hannah Antonell who was complemented by
Natalie Schaffner and
Madison Duvall both scoring 3 goals.
Katie Kennedy also added a goal. Assists throughout the game were contributed by Schaffner, Duvall, Antonelli, and
Samantha Pappas, all with one assist.
Sherpherd took the lead early in the first half, while Wesleyan was able to tie the game and cut the lead within one a few times, they were unable to capitalize to get ahead.
The Bobcats fall to an overall record of 5-5-1 and will return to the field to faceoff at Edinboro on Tuesday at 2pm.
