Game Recap: Men's Basketball |

Men's Basketball Falls to NDC 73-61

South Euclid, OH- West Virginia Wesleyan Men's Basketball was looking to get their second win of the two game road trip against Notre Dame College on Saturday afternoon. Despite Wesleyan making 15- 3 pointers in the game, the Bobcats would ultimately fall to the Falcons. 

Wesleyan went into the half with a five point lead. The Bobcats built their lead after being down by three in the early minutes of the half. A Luka Petrovic three pointer would tie the game at 8 at the 12:59 mark, and over the next five minutes Wesleyan would go on a 17-5 run. The Falcons would close the gap in the final minutes to cut the Wesleyan halftime lead. 

In the second half, Wesleyan would take an eleven point lead at the 18:07 mark 40-29 after an 8-4 run to start the half. The Falcons would go on an 11-2 run over the next three minutes to cut into the Wesleyan lead. Over the next five minutes of the half, The Falcons go up by 4 (54-50) going 4 for 4 on three point attempts during that stretch. 

Notre Dame would go on to outscore Wesleyan by seventeen in the second half, and took the win 73 to 61. 

The Bobcats would three players in double figures led by Petrovic and Clay Tood who had 13 points a piece. Petrovic would also add 8 assists. 

Wesleyan will be back in action when they travel to University of Charleston on Thursday evening.
