Buckhannon, WV-- The West Virginia Wesleyan College Football team would take on undefeated Notre Dame College for an away game in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. The Bobcats come into the game with a 1-3 record opposed to the Falcons who come in 4-0. The Bobcats are coming off a big home win facing Wheeling University last weekend.
From the start of the game the Falcons offense would be overpowering the Bobcats. At the end of the first quarter the Falcons would put up 28 points on 4 touchdowns. The next quarter the Falcons would tack on 3 more touchdowns to make it a 49-0 ball game at the half. The Bobcats would have to get something started if they want to get back in the game.
The Bobcats would only score once in today's conference game,
Jarrett Northrop would target
Derek Drapen twice on the drive and connect both times and one for an 11 yard touchdown pass.Â
The Bobcats would fail to get any other drive started as the Falcons offense and defense would be a huge factor in the ball game.
The Falcons would take this one 52-6, as the Bobcats could not come back after the Falcons overpowering first half.Â
Jarrett Northrop would throw 12-21 on the day for 127 yards collecting 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions.
Kord Jenkins would have 16 attempts rushing for 40 yard and
Shaq Freeman-Parks would have 6 attempts for 27 yards on the day.
Derek Drapen would snag 6 receptions for 96 yards with 1 touchdown and a long ball of 38 yards.
On the defensive side of the ball, the Bobcats would continue to be led by
John Merica. Merica would have a total of 10 tackles (8 solos and 2 assisted).
Grant Safford would also collect 6 total tackles on the day, 3 solo and 3 assisted.Â
