Recap
Fresh-off their first win of the season on Saturday, West Virginia Wesleyan Men's Basketball was looking strong again on Tuesday night, as they lead Fairmont State throughout the game. The Bobcats took the lead in the sixth minute of the game, and would hold it for the next 33 minutes. Unfortunately for them, Fairmont State's Isaiah Sanders would make a three with tenths of a second remaining on the clock. That shot would lift the Falcons to a 75-72 victory. This is a disappointing result for a Wesleyan team that was turning the corner in the early part of the season. They struggled mightily in their first four games, but then took Alderson Broaddus to the final moments, and soundly beat Frostburg State last week. Regardless of outcome, the signs of a strong rest-of-the-season are there for the Bobcats, and they grew leads as big as thirteen on Tuesday night. The next step in this 2019-20 season progression is closing out these tight games in the win column.
