Huntington, WV - West Virginia Wesleyan rolled to a 4-1 win over Fairmont State in the opening match of the Mountain East Conference tennis championships Wednesday afternoon.
The 3rd Seeded Lady Bobcats took the doubles point and then won three singles matches, losing just 9 games in the process.Â

Wesleyan won for the 14th time this year, topping the previous best of 10 wins under head coach

The Lady Bobcats now square off against second-seeded West Virginia State at 2pm Thursday at the Brian David Fox tennis center, locates on the campus of Marshall University.Â
The 'Cats pushed WVSU to the limit in last year's semifinals before bowing 5-4.Â
