BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. - The Mountain East Conference on Friday announced its 2026 Women's Tennis award winners and all-conference teams, following a vote of the league's head coaches.
 
University of Charleston No. 1 Sara Martinez repeats as the 2026 MEC Women's Tennis Player of the Year, after also claiming the award in 2025. Martinez helped the Golden Eagles go 6-0 in league play and earn the No. 1 seed in the 2026 MEC Women's Tennis Championship. She went 18-6 this season. In singles and went 24-3 in doubles. UC had two others earn All-MEC first team, which helped boost Alec Foote to repeat as the MEC Women's Coach of the Year honors.
 
Foote led UC to the regular season title and the No. 1 seed in this weekend's MEC Women's Tennis Championship in Charleston, West Virginia.

West Virginia Wesleyan's Renata Pozzobon was named MEC Freshman of the Year. Pozzobon, went  14-7 this season and 4-2 in league play with her only two losses coming to Fairmont State and Frostburg State.

In addition to announcing the individual award winners, the league also announced its all-conference teams on Friday afternoon (listed below).
