Box Score Buckhannon,WV-- The West Virginia Wesleyan Women's Volleyball team would take on the University of Charleston Golden Eagles in a Conference matchup this Friday night. The Lady Bobcats come into today's match with a 2-8 overall record. Opposed to the Golden Nights coming into tonight's matchup with a 2-11 overall record. Tonight would be both teams first conference game of the 2019 season. 

The Lady Bobcats would go back and forth with the Golden Eagles for the entire first match, the Lady Bobcats would take the last two points making it 25-22. The Lady Bobcats would take the first set and look to take that momentum into the next. 

It would be all Wesleyan in the 2nd set as they would be up as much as 13 points. The Lady Bobcats would take the 2nd set by a 8 point margin (25-17).

The 3rd set the Lady Bobcats would continue to keep their momentum, as the defense would continue to make plays but the Golden Eagles didn't go down without a fight. The Golden Eagles would go on a 4 point unanswered run but would be enough to stop the offensive power from the Lady Bobcats.

The Lady Cats would go on to win 25-19, the Lady Bobcats move to 1-0 in conference play and the Golden Eagles move to 0-1. 

The Lady Bobcats will be back in action tomorrow morning as they take on West Virginia State University for a 10:00 am game. Come out and support your Lady Bobcats!
