Wesleyan Swimming's regular season came to a close on Saturday at DII Independent Salem University. The Lady 'Cats recorded their fifth head-to-head victory of the season, defeating the Tigers 168-79. However, the Men did not have one of their stronger performances of the year, and they fell 158-104. Overall, there were thirteen individual event victories, ten of which came from the Lady 'Cats.
Kay Lange,
Hannah Cook and
Amanda Schlor were the stars of the show for the Women. Lange won a long and short distance event (1000-yard Free, 100-yard Breast), Cook had two impressive victories (50-yard Breast, 100-yard Free), and Schlor racked up three (50-yard Back, 100-yard Back, 200-yard IM).Â
Team Records
The Wesleyan Men finish the regular season with a head-to-head record of 3-3. The Women have had a great season so far, finishing at 5-1 overall.
Salem's Men finish the regular season at a strong 6-2, and the Women at 4-4.

What's Next
Wesleyan will train the next two week in preparation for the dual MEC/GMAC Championships February 12th-15th. The 'Cats could qualify from there to compete at the NCAA Championships in March at the Spire Institute in Ohio.
Salem will be swimming at the Conference Carolinas Championship Feb 12-15th in Charlotte, NC.
