Recap
Urbana has absolutely been one of the stories of the Mountain East Conference Women's Basketball season so far in 2019-20, and they lived up to that storyline on Saturday, beating the Lady Bobcats 94-60. The Blue Knights' star duo of Tyra James and Sylvia Hudson did not put up their typical numbers, but the team as a whole had five players in double figures. This game was never really in doubt, as Urbana won the first three quarters by at least nine points each. Their three-point shooting was impeccable at over 64% for the entire game, and they shot an even 50.0% for the game. On the Wesleyan side,
Cierra Tolbert had one of her stronger games so far in the black and orange, scoring sixteen points and adding eight rebounds. However, without
Brittany Stawovy or
Nicole Gilyard scoring in double figures, it is going to be hard for the Lady 'Cats to find a win on the road.Â
