West Virginia Wesleyan Acrobatics and Tumbling competed against Georgetown College at the Rockefeller Center on Friday night. The Bobcats lead the entire meet, coming out with their first win of the season, 238.86 to 140.25.
 
In the Compulsory Event, the Lady Bobcats hit every heat scoring a 33.20, opposed to the Georgetown's total of 25.5.
 
The Lady Cats kept strong energy through the next two events, Acro and Pyramid. In the Acro event, Kayla Wade, Sydney McKinnon, Megan Miles and Fallyn Swiger performed an incredible Five Element Heat scoring a 9.85. This was the highest score of the meet. The 'Cats still in the lead, scored above a 9.4 on all three of their Pyramid Heats.
 
At Halftime, the 'Cats lead the Tigers 89.90 to 70.50.
 
During the Toss Event, the Lady 'Cats scored a 26.1 out of 30.0, the highest score in the Open Toss Heat. Scoring a 9.1 in this heat were athletes Megan Boone, Sydney McKinnon, Kayla Wade, Tiara Stokes, Megan Miles, and Fallyn Swiger.
 
The 'Cats also had a successful Tumbling Event, outscoring the Tigers 48.95 to 44.4. The highest Tumbling Event score was Megan Boone's Six Element Pass which scored a 9.325.
 
For the Team Event, the Georgetown Tigers did not perform, but the Lady 'Cats still put on a strong performance in hopes to beat their season high score. The 'Cats scored a 73.91.
 
The next time the Lady 'Cats compete they will face the Pioneers of Glenville State in Glenville, on March 15.
