LaPole Continues Education and Playing Career in England

Madison LaPole is pursuing her Master's Degree at Nottingham Trent University while also extending her playing career

Buckhannon, WV -- Former West Virginia Wesleyan midfielder and recent WVWC alumna Madison LaPole has continued her education and athletic endeavors with Nottingham Trent University in Nottingham, England. LaPole will be pursuing her Master's Degree in International Development at Nottingham Trent.  

"We are very happy for Madison," head women's soccer coach Richard Owens said. "This is an amazing opportunity and she is extremely deserving of it. We are all excited to be able to continue to watch her journey."

Last season, LaPole scored 7 goals with 5 assists for a total of 19 points. The Inwood, W. Va., native earned First Team All-Mountain East Conference honors and First Team All-Atlantic Region accolades by the D2CCA for her efforts on the pitch in 2019. She was honored as a First Team All-Region Scholar by the United Soccer Coaches.
