Symphonie Bryant Brown scored nine points and
Abi Gabauer added eight off of the bench.
Cierra Tolbert tallied eight points and ripped down nine rebounds.
Malaika Kimmons scored six points with five rebounds. Freshman
Ariana Harmon contributed six points.Â

Leaders for Charleston
Erykah Russell led the way with 23 points and 13 rebounds for a double-double. Brooklyn Pannell scored 20 points and swiped four steals.Â

Charleston outrebounded Wesleyan, 42-30. The Golden Eagles finished 13-for-15 at the free throw line.Â

Inside the First Half
Tolbert collected four quick points after a layup with 7:53 remaining in the first quarter as the Bobcats trailed 5-4. Halfway through the opening frame, Gabauer found
Courtney Wilfong on a bounce pass in the corner for a triple to put WVWC in front, 9-7. A Gabauer layup in the final two minutes of the first evened the score at 11 points apiece.Â

Over the first three minutes of the second quarter, the Golden Eagles embarked on an 11-2 run to create a 22-13 advantage. Charleston worked the ball inside and executed from the free throw line to widen the margin.
Summer Matlack hit a layup in the waning seconds of the first half as Wesleyan trailed 38-24 at halftime.Â

Inside the Second Half
The Golden Eagles began the third quarter on a 15-0 run that was snapped by a Tolbert mid-range jumper with 4:54 remaining. Behind 56-30, Bryant-Brown connected on a 3-pointer from the left wing with 1:34 left in the third.Â

Harmon scored all six of her points in the fourth quarter.Â
