Taylor Named Co-Special Teams Player of the Week

After his 88-yard kickoff return for a touchdown, Devin Taylor earned MEC Co-Special Teams Player of the Week honors.

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. -- West Virginia Wesleyan redshirt-sophomore Devin Taylor earned Mountain East Conference Co-Special Teams Player of the Week honors, the league announced on Monday (March 15).

Taylor returned a kickoff 88 yards for a touchdown at West Virginia State on Saturday (March 13). Taylor shares the weekly award with Notre Dame (Ohio) kicker Tanner Harding.

WVWC football is scheduled to head south to UNC Pembroke for a 12 p.m. kickoff on Saturday, March 20 in a week two matchup.
