BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. -- West Virginia Wesleyan freshman Alienor Dalle was recognized by the Mountain East Conference on Monday (March 15) as the league's Women's Swimmer of the Week.

Dalle led all Bobcat swimmers with four total events on the day (three individual, one relay). Dalle started her work early in the 200-medley relay. Dalle anchored the team of Amanda Schlor, Jennifer Williams and Alyssa Serrano to a finishing time of 1:59.03. 

Dalle continued her dominance winning the 200-free (2:07.08) and 100-butterfly (1:02.21). In Dalle's final event of the day she touched the wall in 28.04 to take home the victory in the 50-butterfly.

Wesleyan women's swimming is preparing for the GMAC/MEC Championships in Canton, Ohio taking place from March 30-April 2.
