After winning the default point at doubles No. 3, Wesleyan lost the doubles point by losing matches at No. 1 and No. 2 both by 6-1 scores.

In singles, No. 1
Sai Sakamoto faced one of her toughest competitors of the year in NCAA Division II Player to Watch, Ana Kunic. After dropping the first set 6-0, Sakamoto scratched and clawed in the second set before falling 6-3.

Wesleyan earned default points in No. 5 and No. 6 to round out the scoring on the afternoon.

The Bobcat women's tennis team will be back in action tomorrow (March 17) playing host to West Liberty. The match is scheduled to start at 4 p.m.
