BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. -- West Virginia Wesleyan junior forward MaKatlyn Tucker earned Mountain East Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors, the league announced on Monday (March 22). 

Tucker scored assisted Beth Burchett the first goal of the afternoon for the Lady Bobcats before scoring their second goal. The effort boosted WVWC to a 3-2 road victory at Notre Dame (Ohio) on Sunday, March 21. The win marked the first time that the Wesleyan women's soccer team has been victorious at Notre Dame (Ohio) since 2015. 

WVWC women's soccer is scheduled to host West Virginia State at Ross Field on Sunday, March 28 at 11:30 a.m.
