WEST LIBERTY, W.Va.- The West Virginia Wesleyan women's tennis team was in action on Sunday (April 25) against the West Liberty Hilltoppers. WLU controlled the match in its entirety en route to a 7-0 victory.

After the Hilltoppers had already clinched the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3,
Sai Sakamoto and
Julia Pinto secured the lone victory for WVWC winning 6-3 at No. 1.

WLU controlled the match from there on out sweeping the singles lineup for the 'Cats.

WVWC will be back in action on Tuesday (April 27) to wrap up the regular season against the Senators from Davis & Elkins. The match will take place in Elkins and is scheduled to start at 3 p.m.
