BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – The West Virginia Wesleyan swimming programs along with head coachÂ
Collin Meadows have announced the official 2021-22 schedule.
The first look at Bobcat swimming will occur on Sept. 25 in the annual Orange & Black meet scrimmage. Wesleyan heads north to Morgantown, W.Va., for the West Virginia State Games Oct. 8-9. A week later, the Mountain East Conference hosts its relay meet on Oct. 16 in Canton, Ohio.
Next up, WVWC will make a short trip to Salem on Oct. 29 for a dual meet followed by its home opener on Nov. 6 against Malone. Another relatively short trek to Alderson Broaddus awaits on Nov. 13, where the men will battle the Battlers in a dual meet while the women's team will face AB as well as Franciscan. The schedule in 2021 comes to a close at the Corbiere-Merion Invitational hosted by Ohio Wesleyan from Nov. 20-21.
After a break, the schedule picks up in 2022 on Jan. 8 at Davis & Elkins. Wesleyan will welcome Frostburg State (Jan. 14) and Wheeling (Jan. 15) to Buckhannon for back-to-back MEC dual events. The meet on Jan. 15 will be Senior Night. The season wraps up Feb. 16-19 in Canton, Ohio at the MEC/GMAC Championships, where WVWC has displayed past and recent success.
